The new FreeVario Nav with Android 13!!
Everyone’s talking about it, we’re making it easy. Sustainability! Simply convert your old OpenVario Classic, Stefly OpenVario or OpenVario DS2 into an Android device. The FreeVario Nav is compatible with the 7″ and 5.7″ Texim display, as well as the 7″ Ampire display.
Converting a Stefly OpenVario is very easy, as all devices have the same design. With a self-built OpenVario Classic or an OpenVario DS2, the effort may be a bit greater, as the front frame may need to be adapted to fit the computer’s casing.
The advantages of FreeVario Nav:
– More cost-effective
– No need to modify the instrument panel
– The old, proven display including the front frame is reused
– Simple conversion that takes about 30 to 60 minutes
– Continue to use the sensor board from your old OpenVario, thanks to the connection to XCSoar or OpenSoar via Bluetooth. This eliminates the need to connect a Larus or XCVario to receive the pressure data.
– Conversion to touch is possible; alternatively, a joystick remote control can also be used to operate the device.
– Android 13
– 6 ttyS ports (4x RJ45, 2x Sub-D15)
– 6 USB hubs
– Sub-D15 connector compatible with Stefly OpenVarios
– LAN port in addition to WiFi
